Back stairwell

Paneling was decided to be put up so they wouldn't have to paint the walls. Glue and finish nails were used.

As soon as it went up it started pulling away from the walls and buckling. Now the is a leak. So How do I get this stuff down?

Three problems

The p trap was replaced by somebody who felt the need to use a big pipe wrench so it leaks at the connections. I would like to replace it all with plastic. And when you turn the water on then off there is a nice thumping noise.

What tools do I need to put in a new kitchen faucet? Why a plastic one was bought I will never know.

While I am in the bathroom

I need to put in some new tiles to update this space. Where do I start?

Bathroom before even thinking about renovation

The threads on the bit that is bare there have worn down. People are still using it by pushing the also worn knob down on it. Everything is loose inside the wall and I have noticed there is leak now.

The backside has no access panel. The wall is drywall with a rough coat of plaster and a smooth coat on top of that.

So, how do I install new tub controls and get at the back of the pipes for the leak. The pipes are galvanized ones.

By the Way I have no tools really. A phillips screw driver and a pair of pliers. Also any thoughts on flow control valve installation would be helpful too.
